My Commitment

Here are some commitments I make to my clients:

No surprises. The work you contract with me to do will be done when I agreed to have it done, for the price we agreed to. If the scope or nature of the project begins to change, we will discuss possible effects this could have on your budget and you will decide how to proceed.

Honest assessment. When we evaluate your project upfront, I will be open with you about my view of the work that needs to be done, and I will tell you whether I am the right one to do it. If part of the work falls beyond my area of expertise, I'll do what I can to identify someone to provide that aspect of the service you need.

Pricing options. After assessing your needs, I will present you with pricing options that give you more than one way to budget your project. I have worked on an hourly basis, fixed project fee basis and on a monthly retainer. Usually, the nature of the project more or less suggests the appropriate way to structure payments, but—in today's economy—we all need to be flexible and work together to make things as managable as possible.

Constant communication. You will never wonder where I am or what is going on with your project. I will stay in touch, ask for frequent consultation opportunities, and give you regular progress reports.
